When bae is mad with u

Acoma Pueblos - Sky city

The other day me and my new host family went to the Acoma Pueblos.
Those are build high up on a mountain which had the purpose on secure the native indians when the spanish came and tried to wipe out their traditions.

Its really pretty up there . You will see laders on the houses. Another technique to secure themselves was to build the door on the top of the house so only people with the lader could reach it.

Till toay a native tribe is living up there. A bit more modern then back then but still following their traditions. Typicall art pieces like cermic bowls etc. were out for sale .For sure i bought some.

Saying goodbye

I have about 20 days left.
No matter how often I struggled, I've made it !!!!

SIDE NOTES FOR MY FRIENDS AND LOVED ONES :
You guys better pick me up at the airport or at least send a bottle of champagne to my house or .... ( I'm not good at threatening but I promise something really bad will happen if you don't !)
Oh an I announce it later on but I will have a little dinner party at my house so who ever wants to join texts me .
SIDE NOTE END.

One year has passed.
A year full of excitement, fear, happiness, difficult situations, love, pain ...

And now ? It's about to be over.
Since the beginning I told myself that there will be an end. That there will be a goodbye ... And all of us thought we were prepared, but when my BESTFRIEND left and headed home I felt ... Fear ?
My friends know that I never cry in public. Never. And I really tried not to. Saying  goodbye to your bestfriend like ... Your soulmate like the person you share everything with ? I already miss her.

This year made me realise the value of time.
The value of the people you love.
Value of your life itself and what you make out of it .

I think there is no sadder thing like setting the main focus of your life on school or your carriers without enyoing the fun parts in life. I think I've fooled myself a lot before my exchange year and now that I've figured that out, now that I am closer to understand of who I am ... Now I have so much fun .

At the same time I have bigger goals, higher expectations for my life and myself because  what I've learned, is that there is noch such a thing as 'your goals are to high '. Set your standards and don't settle for anything less.

I should write a book about 'how to get it together (again) in 10 easy months ' hahah.

Anyways I try to make those days count and will see you at the airport :)!
